I was skeptical of this place to eat. Frankly we were on road trip and friends wanted breakfast. I just wanted a cup of tea and didn't realize I had space for food until I was served food. Waitress was friendly in a home town sorta way. We ordered the hash browns with all the fixins to share. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this. Really good. Ordered egg whites (no cheese) with toast and bacon. Downside- They need more juice options. I was able to get Apple juice but they were those miniature boxed one you put in kids lunch box. One box is a 'small"...so I ordered a "Large"= 2 small boxes. Overall I was quite happy with my meal.

Poorest waffle house I have ever been in. Usually you can count on solid home cooked meal served promptly. The food was OK, even if I had to watch my eggs cooling for 3-4 minutes before the hashbrowns were put on the plate and delivered to me. The waffle which was part of the combo came 4 minutes after my cold eggs and hot hashbrowns were delivered. The waitress was in training and didn't get the help she needed to assure Waffle House standards. The bacon was perfect, hot and very crisp.

We stop here on the way to Denver every year. I don't know what happened, but this location is horrible now. You have a manager behind the counter taking bad about another manager, our waiter delivered out food to us over a 10 minute span... One plate at a time. By the time everyone had their food (not including the bacon they forgot to make), the first plates were cold. Regulars are the only ones who get any decent service.

It's Waffle House....so we didn't expect Flemmings by any means we expected the Waffle House! The food was great! Yummy food, friendly staff. Just what we needed after a long drive.

No no no!!!!! Do not enter, go somewhere else! Waffle House? U call that a waffle! Ok based on food, no star! Awful! My "waffle" came out overcooked and hard. The syrup the waitress gave us was cold! Ew! Based on service, 4 star. She did the best she could. It seemed as tho she was the only one serving while everyone in the kitchen was..... Cooking? She didn't charge us the breakfast we didn't eat and apologized. However! Two girls in the kitchen kept looking over at us with awful dirty looks, as if we were the bad cooks!!!!? I was dumbfounded by this. The owner/manager needs to do an attitude check, and then hire some COOKS!! I will never return, but from the looks we got, they don't want our business anyway.

I've never had bad food here. Some crews are better than others, depends what shift you go on. I think the price is right for what it is.

It was Sunday at 6:00 pm, foot traffic was low but the service was the worst that I have experienced in all of my time eating at Waffle Houses from Maine to Florida and Midwest. My husband ordered hash browns covered, smothered, chunked and Pecan waffles. The hash brown came out without the chili. We asked where the chili was and was bold that they manager did not show them how to fix it (unacceptable leaving untrained personnel). Now we are still not done. the waffle, which should have the pecans baked in the batter, arrived with the pecans on top. We asked the server to make us a new one with. he took that plate and threw the plate and all in the trash and not quiet about it. He then left the area and stayed in the back until we left (unacceptable behavior). So if it is true that a manager or assistant manager was not on duty; shame on them.

This place used to be ok (it's a waffle house, for crying out loud) but the last few visits have been horrible. Foreign objects in the food, dirty dishes, lackadaisical staff, filthy restrooms, and dirty parking lot. Unfortunately this place is no longer our go-to breakfast spot. The prices are higher with the service and quality much lower. The village inn across the street is a much better choice...

Good breakfast for a good price. The navigator is wrong. Follow the signs and turn right off the highway north bound. Find it east of the highway. .

I would've given this place 5 stars, if not for the flakey waitress. I had the rib-eye steak, while Baba had the t-bone steak- mAN HOW COME CHICAGO DOENS'T HAVE THIS PLACE?!! Cheap and ultra delicious!!!!!! For dessert warm pecan pie with whip cream- to die for. Now the waitress, she was very nice and very helpful in informing us the different quality meats, but 1) she talked too much and 2) she messed up Baba's order of sausage melt. When the sandwich came, Baba knew it was not correct, so he asked her, yet she said that is the melt. By the time he asked for the check, I asked again for clarification (I was sad that Baba didn't get what he expected). She re-checked and caught her mistake- she ended up giving us the pecan pie for free, very nice, but still the mistake and lack of efficiency killed the excitement!!! Eh, still, my rib-eye steak was yum yum in my tummy.

As I've said before I do love me some waffle house. This was has a colorful staff and like all of them the food is always fresh, made fast, and made to order. It's also one of the very few things in Castle Rock open 24 hours. Stop on in, have a bite to eat. have a little conversation with the waitstaff. It's a good little place.

On Sunday afternoon there isn't much staff so service is slow, but friendly and apologetic. The grits are really good, but the waffle was a bit flat and dry. We ask for crispy bacon and it came out perfect. The poached eggs were fair at best since they were cooked in a bowl, but did taste good. I'll go back, but get scrambled eggs next time.

Friendly staff, very fast service, and predictable but delicious food. Just like every other Waffle House - old music on the jukebox, dive-diner feel, same menus - but the best Waffle House employees I've met.
